My wife and I are avid cruisers, and have been to several ports. So far this is hands down the best one. We are going on another cruise in December 2018 out of Long Beach. It has been remodeled so we will see if they give port canaveral a run for its money.

We got off of the Liberty yesterday...AND I'M TICKED OFF!😡 I want back on IMMEDIATELY!😆😂 First of all, Park Port Canaveral Parking was painless, and easy as usual. Check-in on the Liberty went smooth, and rooms were ready at the "promised" time. The crew member that we had the most interaction with, Muhamad, our cabin steward(We made SURE to give him an extra tip and "Thank you" card because he ABSOLUTELY deserved it); could NOT have been any more perfect! We chose early AND evening cleaning(THIS was a first for being asked), and the mystery, magical Mohamad seemingly swooped in and out the moment we turned our backs! IF we had questions that he didn't have the answers for, he found the information and left it for us ASAP! I'm a vegetarian, and if I'm honest, was getting tired of the same vegetarian Indian dishes, and was SO pleased to see more options... the zucchini/eggplant parmigiana & the crispy Portobello mushrooms?!!! OMG!!!😋The Carnival Cosmo is now a favorite drink of mine also now.😍 The casino was fun, I'm not a fan of smoke, BUT such is life! I'm NOT the only person on this planet!😅The comedy shows with Mike Macy(we became a part of his last show for sitting up front), and Billy D. Washington were HYSTERICAL! Our CD DONKEY kept the party going from start to finish! Every crew member that we crossed paths with seemed genuinely happy to make our acquaintance. I loved the serenity deck, it was very quiet and relaxing. Bingo and trivia were fun also(both a cruising first for us). The MDR crew were on point! The MUSTER drill was BLAH BLAH BLAH!😂 Once off the ship, we took a tour with one of the locals, HENRY! Henry took us EVERYWHERE imaginable for $30pp, to get and do whatever we wanted. He took us to do all of the touristy stuff, The Queen's staircase, Watling's distillery, rum cake store/bakery(we saw the cake being made), Atlantis, Junkanoo beach, The fish fry district, and the straw market, with plenty of time at each stop. THEN for a very in-depth tour of his home, Nassau, the good/beautiful and NOT so pretty, but very informative parts of it. My guy made mention of what he called a bit of an "attitude" with 1 person in our group. I say that to say this. There will be people on the same cruise, doing the same excursions, same activities, and have a COMPLETELY different experience. A LOT of your experience is based on the only thing that YOU can truly be responsible for...YOU!!! Afterwards we went to Señor frogs and to collect our port freebies(first time we ACTUALLY did this too), then headed back to the ship a little early. We had an AMAZING, short get away/cruise! I look forward to MANY, MANY more cruises with Carnival! NOW to get ready for the VISTA in 160 days!!!😃❤🌴🌊🍹🎉

Easiest port to get in and out of. Everything is laid out and easy to find your way around. We got right in, line was moving the entire time. What a breeze.

We took a shuttle to Cocoa Beach and enjoyed the sun, surf and $1 margaritas.

Coco beach! Excellent waves and temperature of water beautiful. Sand, scorching HOT!!! They had umbrellas already put up, so we rented the umbrella and 2 nice lounge chairs! So Great! Clean to, oh you should go to 7-11 and get snacks and drinks there and have them for the beach.

If you are driving, use Park Port Canaveral Parking, it was affordable, near the port and easy in and easy out process.

We went on to get away from the 18th to 26th March. Our first stop was cape Canaveral we went to Kennedy space Center that place is so unbelievable so much to see and so much to do. We had quite a few hours there but it wasn’t long enough love to go there again, but you lied at least two days I just love the Kennedy space Center. I didn’t think it would be that great of a place.

Getting off the ship was very simple. Everyone was helpful in getting us to our bus for our alligator farm/airboat ride excursion! Overall, it was crowded because there was a rocket launch that day, but it was a cool feeling! We saw A LOT of people sitting in their cars hours before the launch!
