Port Canaveral, Florida easy to park, easy to drop off luggage and quick to process us through.

One of the best places to start a cruise from on the east coast. Lots a places to stay and get supplies for your cruise. The people at this port are nice and helpful with any questions you may have.

Who cares about the port... it's where you get on and off. What matter is if there are other things you can do to combine into your trip. One thing worth while we did is to rent an Alamo rental car and drive ourselves back and forth from Orlando. The Alamo lot is a 2 minute shuttle to the cruise terminal or a nice 10 minute or less walk. I reserved a 1 way rental for our trip to Port Canaveral and then another 1 way rental back to Orlando. it was only slightly more expensive than riding in the public shuttle, but with out own car and our own schedule we also visited Disney World on our arrival into Orlando the day before the cruise and we visited the Kennedy Space Center after we exited the boat... with a rental car we were able to do these extra 2 excursions in the area.

Port Canaveral is the BOMB! We stayed a few days pre-cruise at a resort, went to Disney one day then explored Space Coast the next. Got some cool swag at Ron Jon’s Surf Shop, and had a day at Cape Canaveral which for both of us was the highlight of our trip. We both had many memories of the 60’s NASA programs and seeing the first steps on the moon, remembering the Challenger and Columbia disasters. It was moving. We would definitely go again, and we are glad we took the more extensive tour.

This cruise to the Eastern Caribbean was excellent. The food, destinations, excursions, shows and the stateroom attendants was marvelous. Can’t wait to next years cruise.👍🏾

No excursion in Port Canaveral. Stayed at Country Inn and Suites and it was GREAT. Embarkation was a BREEZE. Much improved over the past.

We enjoy leaving out of Port C. The staff there has it down right. The day of embarking is smooth with lines that move. Getting off the ship is done fairly well depending on ship actually. Also we enjoy spending time in Cocoa Beach the day before.
