Was fortunate to have good weather. We did 2 excursions. It's a beautiful place to visit with lots of Mansions. The Princess cruise excursions could do much better with more informative tour guides. We had very limited time (Newport Cliff Walk & The Breakers). The second excursion was much better and more informative and I highly recommend it: Rose Island Lighthouse & Harbor Cruise***

Self walked around and had lunch at the Lamp Lighter Bar, lobster roll and spicy chowder. We would like more time there.

Nice tender ride into port. Very clean city. Lots of shops & restaurants to explore if you didn't want to go on an excursion. Awesome lobster roll at Luke's Lobsters, a short walk from the dock. We really enjoyed our day in Newport

Been here many times before, but it was the first time to complete the entire 5-mile Cliff Walk, it was cloudy and drizzled for about 20 minutes, didn’t hurt, enjoyed very much, never knew it ended with a sandy beach.

Loved it. Toured the breakers. Make sure to Bring some AirPods and your phone so you can listen to the guided tour. It’s awesome!

This was the best port overall. The town was clean and well kept. Our tour guide of the city was outstanding.
