We will be staying in Weehawken N.J on the night before our cruise and taking the ferry to Manhatten to get on the ship. Has anyone stayed in this area, if so how much should I expect a taxi to cost from Newark airport?

From info I found from 10 years ago, it cost $50 to $65. Maybe call your hotel they may know the current rate and/or other options other than a taxi. Maybe look into Uber, too.

Mock book the trip on Uber at about the same time and day of the week that you'll be traveling.

Depending on the time of day your flight comes in, the commute from the airport to Weehawken is long, especially with different road projects going on. Weehawken has nice restaurants and you can see the NY port from there. Your ride might be pricey but enjoy your travels.
