We stayed in Secaucus at the LA Quinta. Parking was free and a bus stop is right there to take you right into Port Authority. very easy.

The best answers will depend on if flying ir driving in. Hotels in Manhattan will be nice and close to seeing shows and touring the city, but you could pay almost as much to park your car as for your hotel room each night. If driving it might be better to find a hotel near Newark Liberty Airport that offers a see the city package and includes vacation long free parking, my suggestion is to try any of the Hilton brands.

Well when I have gone to NYC before…I parked in Trenton NJ and took the train into the city and then used the subway…subway cops are very helpful…Trenton is cheap…and the train only takes about 20 minutes…NY hotels are very pricey and driving is just insane…parking is outrageous…and yes you waste some time on the train but I think the bargain is worth it

The New Yorker Hotel is pretty close to the port we are staying there after our cruise and have stayed there before. Theres also the Ridgefield Hilton garden inn and suites in Ridgefield nj where you can stay and park during the cruise you can uber into the city from there.

We are staying at The Hampton hotel in Ridgefield Park, NJ. You can park, stay and they transport to the terminal and pick you up. Just $289. They were super nice, ask for Joseph!

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ridgefield Park NJ at the end of March left car for a week. It was very reasonable but they do not offer transportation to the port. We used Lyft.
