Our uber driver dropped us at terminal A, but Independence was at the opposite end of the island. We found no information available matching specific ships to terminals before being dropped and told by RC baggage handlers that we were at the wrong terminal.

As far as boarding, upon arrival, you will drop bags, park if needed, enter a line based on your scheduled arrival time, process thru Carnival checkin (passport/boarding pass), then a security screening. There has been an increase in the use of dogs for contriband. Then, if the ship isn't ready, you will go into a waiting area where they call by groups to board.

According to the schedule, the Magic should be using terminal D. Keep in mind that things happen and it could change but unlikely. check out https://www.carnivalcruiseline.de/en/destinations/ports/miami for more information on the port specific to Carnival. It includes addresses and directions.
