For those of you suggesting Google to those asking questions, I’m curious. Here, I can ask a question to a community of like minded cruisers who may have recently personally experienced a place or opportunity that they feel compelled to recommend or suggest I avoid and the reasons why. At this point, virtually everyone is familiar with search engines, advertising, sponsored content, and site optimization. Sure, anyone can Google anything but I like the firsthand, eyewitness testimonials from people with nothing to gain but sharing their experiences for the benefit and appreciation of their fellow cruising community.

That is not a common thing in Miami, like it is in other ports like Port Canaveral. Pick the hotel you want, and use an offsite parking lot that includes a free shuttle to/from the port. Parking space is at a premium in Miami for hotels, so you’re going to be charged accordingly.

I will usually start with parksleepfly.com or parksleephotel.com. However, most of the participating hotels don't advertise "packages," so it is always best to call to confirm after you find one.

I use the Way app. it gives you all the choices and tells you if there's a shuttle.

Even when cruising out of Miami we stay in Dania Beach at either Fairfield Inn or Springfield Suites. Both had parking packages in the past. We then catch a SAS shuttle from the hotel to the pier in Miami for $15/person.

depends on where you're cruising from. port everglades has almost none. port Canaveral has several. from miami... not totally sure.

NEXT TO NONEJust do you & your family a favor and stay in Fort Lauderdale where plenty hotels let you park your car while you cruise. Spring Hill Suites & Fairfield inn Suites are two I can think of off the top of my head that let you park your car there while you cruise, providing you spend the night at there hotel. you can Uber Lyft or catch the hotel shuttle to Port Miami for a small fee

Another site I have looked into but not used is Allcruisehotels.com. keyword search in your browser, sleep park and cruise, and then the port you are cruising from may get you newer sites. Good Luck!

we've reserved at Caribbean Resort by the Ocean, but we are driving and will park at/near the cruise port
