Do a cruise transfer via the cruise line you’re with. Or scheduling an Uber is also easy and there will be a bunch around Miami when there are cruise ships in port

why don't you contact the cruise line, and get your airport transfer to the ship through them.

We flew in the day before so we just took a taxi to our hotel then an Uber the morning of. However on the way home we took a taxi straight to the airport—it was a set rate of like $17. Right out of baggage claim at MIA airport, there are taxis lined up ready to take you wherever you need to go!

we rented a car and drove to Miami Airport from my mom's house in Port Charlotte, after we dropped our rental off there is a shuttle that drives you to the port, just go with the flow and tip the driver. it's a free transportation for flights and rental cars

I have just gone to the cab stand. Told them the ship

I agree with everyone, do the cruiseline transfer since this is your first time in Miami and you are not familiar with Uber. I am guessing you are flying in on the day of your cruise, so don't take a chance on late airlines and do the cruise transfer.
