we stayed at the Holiday inn Port which is right there at the port we literally saw the ships and everything it was awesome and across the street there was a place called The knife which was like an all you can eat steak place for $100 two people could eat and they would give you a bottle of nice wine or whatever you drink for a hundred bucks to me it was the nicest place in Miami and it just set off the trip to the Bahamas

My wife and I booked a room for the night before and after the cruise at the YVE Hotel. It is right near the port and close to stores and restaurants, also a park right across the street

We've also stayed at the YVE, close to the port and places to eat. They did offer a shuttle to the cruise terminal too, but you'd have to check if they still do it. It was about $8 each before.

since hotel prices are crazy now I just book the most reasonable by the airport. I use to stay downtown but the process are insane.

For those of you who have stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami, do you know if it is safe and/or doable for someone in a wheelchair to cross over to Bayside Marketplace?
