You do not have to have the internet package to use the Royal app to communicate with others. There is no charge to use it.

It doesn’t cost anything to communicate through the Royal app…just connect to the “ship’s” wifi

There is no charge to use the app to chat with others in your party on Royal Caribbean. However, be warned its buggy. You don’t always get the messages instantly.

It depends on your cruiseline. On Carnival, no internet is required. you pay $5.00 on the Carnival hub, which covers the whole cruise. I don't know about other cruiselines.

No you download the carnival hub app and everyone pays $5 and that’s how I communicate
