Spent an overnight. Easy to find a hotel and transportation near the port. Didn't have time to tour the town.

Embarkation port. It was super easy to get on and off the ship at the beginning and end of our cruise here especially when using passports and the app for check in. We drove to the port the day before the cruise and parked in the port garage across the street.

Stayed at the Ramada Inn as it appeared to be the only hotel offering airport and cruise terminal shuttles. Hotel was older but comfortable. Restaurant OK but the hotel was a little isolated.

Arriving a day ahead of your cruise, a fun place to shop is the Festival Flea Market. There is a variety of shops, a good food court and a wonderful produce store with great fresh produce. This is the place to go for sunglasses, watches and luggage.

We flew in late night the evening before the cruise. We slept and in the morning got up and caught the shuttle to the ship. We didn't get to enjoy Ft. Lauderdale.
