I did not do any sight seeing here but the airport is nice and efficient compared to Miami Intl airport. Also it isn't far at all from the cruise port. There are a ton of hotels near the cruise port with shuttle service to the cruise port and some even pick you up from the airport.

Go to Holliday beach board walk. fun, clean, concerts free and enjoy. Avoid Dania beach lame.

We typically arrive a few days early and enjoy some pre-cruise fun. We usually stay at Pier 66, however the reviews have been poor due to renovations occurring from last years hurricane. We stayed at Embassy on 17th, it was a nice stay but the grounds were a little small compared to Pier 66. Ft Ldrdl is an easy town to get around!!

Loved it!!! Was so excited for this cruise it was so much fun enjoyed everything about it. It is so wonderful to be cruising the staff was good food was good had a wonderful time

Ft Lauderdale is pretty sketchy around the port and airport - cab from Port to Aiport costs $20 and the cab driver tried to rip us off (wanted to charge us $40 because of 2 stops at airport 100 yards apart). He only backed down when I asked for his cab license and then took $25. I should have gone with Uber but was talked out of it by wife - I’ll never take a taxi on Ft. Laud again.
