Our first time out of port everglades. It was a breeze. Carnival splendor what a beautiful ship. The only one of its kind. Tje crew was amazing a great cruise.

We had enough time for the Everglades excursion when we disembarked the ship. Riding on the airboat was fun. They also have a small wildlife sanctuary where you can hold a baby gator. After the tour you are dropped off at the airport.

Easy on. Hotels are nearby too. I like Ft Lauderdale better than Miami

We actually stayed on Hollywood Beach, close to the airport, which is a much quieter experience than Ft. Lauderdale, more like old Florida. Hotels and restaurants are actually on the beach walk rather than across a busy highway like in FLL.

Very busy and the officers were really loud and aggressive. I guess due to the traffic and keeping order they need to be? Once inside the terminal it was calm and the excitement starts to build.

Explored on my own. Great beaches and restaurants. Coconuts restaurant at Fort Lauderdale Beach is exceptional.

My daughter and I came in 2 days early. We took and excursion on the airboat to the everglades. We saw 5 gators. Awesome. Getting to the port and checking in was easy because we had faster to the fun.

Busy port! Pre cruise we stayed at Ramada Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port. it was nothing fancy but had complimentary airport and Cruise transfers so it was stress free, It was under construction so they are doing upgrades. On the end of the trip we stayed at Sun Tower Suites, awesome view and a friendly fun hotel!
