This is my favorite port to go out of! It’s smooth check in, easy parking, and easy to locate the port. Even though you check in in 2 buildings it’s still super smooth!

Charleston is an amazing place. My husband and I went there for our 3rd anniversary and we fell in love with it. Advise you to book a hotel in Mt. Pleasant.

First visit to Charleston. Wow! What can i say about this beautiful historical city. Stayed here two days before our cruise. Two dwy stay is not long enough. Went to Battery Park and Waterfront Park. Walked around Charleston historical district. So many beautiful old houses and churches. Took a 1 hour horse carriage ride and learned a lot about the history of Charleston. Went to McLeod Plantation and the City Market. So much to explore and see in this charming little town. People were so friendly here. Loved this place! Easy to drive to port. Embarkation and Debarkation went smoothly and quick. Definitely will come back to this port for another visit and cruise!

If you find yourself getting back to Charleston on a Sunday or have the time I recommend the brunch at 5Church although I believe they have changed the name to Church & Union located in the historic district at 32B North Market St. In my opinion the best brunch option on the menu is the Holy S**t Breakfast. This does have a minimum of 2 people at $25/person but it is so worth it.
