We did not do much other than went out to eat in Charleston. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express off Savannah Hwy . We purchased the don't miss the boat package in which we were able to leave our vehicle and they took us to the port and pick us back up on a Mercedes van Really nice.

Beautiful place to visit!! Loved walking the outside market. Wished we had more time in this port, the town was super busy with a race going on, but was great that everything was walking distance.

Got here a day early, our hotel was amazing. We woke up the morning of our cruise went out on the veranda of our hotel and there was our ship. Finally got all of our stuff together and headed for the ship. Getting through the lines were quick and painless thanks to FTTF. I did have to get checked by security because I forgot to take off my jacket while going through the metal detector (metal zipper).

This place was beautiful. We stayed at the la quinta inn and we were able to leave our car there while we were on our cruise. We walked around downtown and ate at Fleets Landing. Omg!! The best seafood ive had. Might have to make some time just to go back!

This was our first time visiting Charleston, and we stayed a couple of days after the cruise to explore. We did our own walking tours and we did the Boone Plantation tour which was extremely educational and enjoyable. The weather got quite hot the days we were there, so we had to pace ourselves, but really enjoyed the city. It was nice that they had free buses to see the city, 3 different routes you could take, so if you were just tired of walking or wanted some air conditioning, you could hop on one of these. It was a little difficult figuring out the bus stops, but we eventually got it. They have the best travel information center which was right by our hotel, so I recommend checking it out.
