The ship is normally in Victoria around 4 -6 hours…so not enough time to truly enjoy without the stressors of getting back to the ship on time…there are some tours that will pick you up and drop you off outside the security perimeter …the horse drawn carriage is nice…so is the Orca watching trip…there are shuttles going back and forth between down town and the ship…and. A nice leisurely walk is nice…but do keep an eye on the time…you do not want the cat calls given to pier runners…or worse yet ….seeing the rear of your ship as it sails into the sunset

On question #2 there are harbour tours for $40 a person. Located across the street on the waterfront across the street from the Empress Hotel. They are very informative and the scenery is great. Visit Victoria Harbour Tours for more info.

No, it is not worth it. Victoria is beautiful. If I could do it over I would not get off in the evening. Daytime yes!

We've been many times in September and it's well worth it. We'll be there in October this time. Have a great trip.
