We did the back country wine tasting with Cloud Climber Jeep Tours. Excellent tour and wine! It was fun riding in the open air jeep, although it was a little challenging getting in and out of the jeep but that was part of the adventure.

Nice port, even though we had to tender in. The excursion (Montecito Stars and History) was awful. We had hoped for more history and less star searching but the bus driver drove us around the Montecito hills to look at famous peoples' gates. A couple would have been fine but we did this for over an hour! After showing us some beautiful restaurants, he dropped us off at a strip mall for 40 minutes. We ended up eating sandwiches from the Von's grocery store. Oh, and the fig tree, we drove past it--didn't even get to get off the bus to take a picture. I was never so happy to return to the ship!

We enjoyed a wonderful “back country” wine tasting with Cloud Climbers Jeep Tours! Excellent! Lots of wine, great husband and wife team driving two jeeps, and just a fun adventure all around!

Again, been to Santa Barbara many times but it's usually not a destination. We did the Trolley tour and got a good view of this beautiful city.

We love Santa Barbara! Make sure you take the bus into town. Cost was 50 cents for an Adult and 25 for a Senior. Short ride and you're there. The tendering process was terrible! (Star Princess) They didn't drop enough tenders to start so we waited over an hour to get off the ship into a tender. Their excuse was a lot of people decided to get off the ship at the same time. Funny thing is we did the same cruise on the same ship and had no issues tendering in!

We were excited to go to Santa Barbara... until we got there. We found the old downtown area was dirty and every half block someone was asking us for money or passed out drunk. Won’t get off the ship any time in the future if we stop there.
