Monterey, California Port Q&A

Q: We are scheduled to sail on Celebrity in late April, with a stop in Monterey. The city council there recently decided to permanently terminate servicing cruise ship passengers, meaning that the cruise lines will either have to make alternate arrangements to allow passengers to disembark in Monterey, or cancel that port. We haven’t heard anything from Celebrity yet, but I was wondering if anyone sailing on another cruise line with a scheduled Monterey stop may have any news they could share. Thanks!
