Catalina May be one of the smaller ports in the cruise world, but the small island packs a lot of punch. My girlfriend and I rented a golf cart and went adventuring by ourselves for the day and found a lot of history and really good food, like any other tourist destination prices are inflated, but for the beauty of the place it’s worth it.

Beautiful weather. I grew up in Southern California and visited Catalina many times. It has not changed a lot. Very quaint little town. Great shopping, restaurants and sights.

Did the semi-submersible sub shore excursion in Catalina. Highly recommended! Excellent crew, who provided information about the varieties of fish. Lots of fish to see!

Avalon is a quaint little Town, all of one square mile. There numerous restaurants to choose from. Some old skool bars where the locals hang out as well. All within a short walk from the tender dock.
