We did 3 days in New Orleans - GREAT city - we did the Hop On - Hop Off bus to see the city then we went to the Jazz Fest the last day we bought the Gray House plantation tour of 2 plantations - we could have easily stayed another 2 days -

Stayed before and after the cruise did all we could in 5 days. Need 4 or 5 more days to finish the list. No excursions.

Enjoy New Orleans. Many kid-friendly activities also such as the Louisiana Children's Museum, Audubon Zoo (with a great lazy river/water park in the summer), City Park, Aquarium of the Americas.

Fabulous BUT You need to experience it a few days before sailing, their isn’t an opportunity to enjoy it when you embark and disembark from this port.
