The place is wonderful. Small, quaint, a must see. Take the 4 hour bus tour, it is worth every dollar. Don't forget your camera.

Cannon Beach excursion exceeded expectations 4 hrs 65$ US fair price unless you have a group and rent your own car. NCL was very disorganized and did not well communicate the expected us border agent delays. Disorganization was typical of this cruise.

Astoria was a very pretty town but there was not much to do or see. Would not visit again.

Had visited Astoria once before and not much to see, although it has nice scenery. We only got off the ship to look at a few crafts, on the pier, and then got back on the ship.
