There were a lot of People try to get to go on a tour . We eventually picked a tour bus . The mini bus was very big and it turned it was a family car . There were about 12seats on the mini bus . The tour guid told us a lot about the island and how China was taking over . The blue lagoon was amazing and the rope swing was super fun but scary . The water was a very nice blue colour. The turtles were beautiful from ages to 1week old to 260years old . There was a coconut crab in a cage with a cracked coconut . The waterfall was amazing and there was another rope swing . There was a waterfall you were allowed to jump of and cliff super high you were allowed to go to . I really wanted to stay there for a week . And all so the fruit was amazing .

This is the best port to do your duty free shopping , and so many excursions , we did the cascading waterfalls , our adult children sons horse ridding they loved it ,we suggest you barter with the locals for your taxi ride when we fist got there one wanted $300, for 4 people to take around the most attractions , when we just kept walking along the taxi stand and found a great deal of only 150 for the day , and would be less if you only want to do some of the tours .

Did the ship's reef explorer glass bottom boat tour, terrific and worth the cost. We booked a tour through here but it was cancelled, so we paid extra to do the ship tour ...Vanuatu Markets look great but are just junky once you get there. Our friend did ship's blue lagoon cruise and said it was a bit meh and overpriced for what it was.

YOU CAN'T GET THIS TOUR FROM A CRUISELINE! If you want to just relax or take an adventure, contact Divi's Tapas and Bar. They will help you arrange transport to their off the grid and off the beaten path resort. Scott and Darleen are Aussie ex-pats who moved to Vanuatu. Their place may be completely self-sustaining but it does not show. Everything is brand new and they have all the amenities you would expect at a very nice resort. They allow you to use snorkel gear, paddleboards, bicycles, reef shoes, etc. at NO ADDITIONAL cost. We took a 2km walk through the rainforest where we saw majestic views, a massive waterfall and even explored the beaches where tribes from the TV sbow Survivor lived! Beverages were cold, food was out of this world! Everything is luxurious compared to the rest of the island yet it is set on the beach in the middle of nowhere (Mangalilu Village). Some of the locals work at the resort, are incredibly friendly and love to talk to you about their village and where you are from, in English. By the way, there is no fee to visit their resort. You just need to contact Divi's in advance to setup transportation and pay for whatever you eat or drink while you are there. It is adult only (I believe 15+ but you should double check). If you do not visit Divi's while you are in Port Vila, you are making a mistake.

Perhaps we chose the wrong port excursion even though we visited a village it’s people performing their dance rituals. The disappointing aspect to this was the traffic, construction and narrow streets the bus driver navigated through, it just felt like we were back home. The magrket stalls on the other hand offered great choice and the city itself felt dirty neglected.

Fantastic really enjoyed. The added in location of Loganville whilst appreciated was not at the same standard as Vila itself.
