We spent the day at Amdee island which was lovely. The beaches were exceptional and this is a lovely place to just relax for the day.

Ok but don't go on a Sunday all the shops are shut our ship dropped us off but didn't tell us all was closed not much to do all back to the ship to sit in the sun

Best thing about Noumea is free wifi in the visitor centre. Been there so many times only to find the place closed, when the Nickel is gone they'll only have tourism to rely on, they need to make a better effort. The ship brings the tourist in the thousands, but the country has to make the place inviting enough for us to get off the ship.

Seem like your in Waikiki ,but French speaking people are arrogant..they want you to speak in their language..for they cant speak and understand english mostly!
