It was such a wonderful day. My father was stationed here in 1942 with the US Marines. It was the only place he ever talked about. Beautiful scenery.

Went on a local tour. Saw Villa Vailima, home if author Robert Lois Stevenson and family. He died there and the grave is there. Saw waterfall also the wonderful church near the port.

We visited the Ocean Center, enjoyed it very much. I wish we had more time there. Then our tour took us to the beach, very nice. Good excursion, just not long enough.

Make sure you visit the church in town it is a beautiful Church to see. You will be a maze from the woodworking in the ceiling of the church and the paintings as well.

The best part of this port was visiting the Robert Louise Stevenson mansion; it was beautiful. Again, the weather did not cooperate with this excursion. There is not much to see in town either.
