Sail Date: Jan 13th-Jan22nd 12 Day New Zealand Ship: Celebrity Edge Cabin: 11110 Our schedule was 5 days in Sydney, 12 day New Zealand Cruise, fly to Melbourne for 5 days. First time on a ship that size. Fabulous service and Retreat venue was fantastic. Luminae was one of the best we’ve ever visited. Cabin attendant and especially the butler were top shelf. However the two day trip from Sydney through the Tasman Sea was rough. Windy and rough enough that it was difficult/couldn’t enjoy the Retreat sun deck. Entertainment on Celebrity Edge had a wide variety. The theater in the round was one awesome. Land tours pre and post cruise contracted through SWAIN Tours. An outstanding company on every level from airport drivers to tour operators (Ocean Tours). Tours provided by Celebrity throughout New Zealand were excellent.

We went several days early to explore Sydney. The harbor and Rocks area is fun to explore. I recommend the Captain Cook History Cruise located in Sydney Harbor.

Stayed overnight prior to cruise and one night befor disembarking. Great city to explore, buses are great.

Loved it. Reminded me of San Fran, Seattle, and Rome. Great port. Weekend market at the Rocks. Took a bike tour on Manly and have to go to the manly Beach. Taronga Zoo is best in the world.
