Stayed at the QT in Central Business District-loved everything about it-perfect location. Stayed there this past January.

Rendezvous at The Rocks is a great place to stay 🙂

you need to check which cruise terminal your ship leaves from. There are two.Overseas Passenger Terminal near Circular Quay at The Rocks, and White Bay terminal. This might effect which hotel you choose.

We always stay at the Sydney Marriott. Close to public transport options and a killer buffet…you will be most likely be embarking from Circular Quay terminal but if unsure check the Sydney cruise port schedules. It’s a 5 minute walk to this terminal from the Marriott.

I'm staying at Amora Hotel Jamison, it's within walking distance of public transportation and the terminal.

Depends on your budget. Suggest looking at TripAdvisor. But can recommend a fabulous hotel - comfortable , good sized rooms with a kitchenette, continental breakfast included , middle of the city. Also on the train line from the airport and 2 stops to the cruise terminal… HYDE PARK INN. OPposite a beautiful park.

We're doing the same, going to Sydney a few days earlier and am staying at the Intercontinental Hotel on Macquarie Street.

We stayed at the Four Seasons when we were there. Very nice hotel, downtown with restaurants and bars close by. Short walk to the Rocks as well. You can see it from the harbor as one of the high rises when your ship docks.
