Nice little port with a quaint town. Public library has free internet access for those who bring a lap top. We actually left our video camera in restaurant and didn't realize it till we got back to the ship. The locals greeting us called the restaurant for us like they were calling a relative and sure enough it was still there and we were able to retrieve it promptly after lunch.

loved picton! i did an excursion but not through the ship. paid $60 instead of $200 to rent bikes and go winery hopping. so fun! a bus picked us up from the ship and took us back. very nice little town with a small shopping area.

We are interested in doing the WW1 steam train on 16 Jan but as the tour leaves at 3.30pm and goes for 300 minutes we are concerned that we won’t be back in time to catch the ship. We are only in port from 12pm to 7pm.

We did a amazing wine tour that I was t sure I’d enjoy since I’m not a big wine drinker but was a great small group and it was really interesting and informative
