There was an old auto show and music at the port. I also enjoyed the Opossum Shop (free shuttle to town)--bought yarn plus saw their great exhibits about the possums. Also found a discount store. We also enjoyed walking along the black beach. Great place to visit!

Wonderful, quint city. I recommend the Hawkes Bay Express excursion. Great way to see the city and learn its history.

Beautiful beaches. And a beautiful town centre, not far from the ship as they have free busses that take you to and from the ship all day. Great shops and cafes/restaurants :)

We loved Napier! Would definitely go back here to stay. We took the Hawke's bay express train, very informative & entertaining. The shopping is great here and the little town is very walkable, the art deco style is everywhere & quite adorable. There were vintage cars everywhere & people dressed in 20's clothing. Beautiful parks & flowers.
