Fabulous must go to see.

We were fortunate to have arrived on the same day as Napier was celebrating Art Deco Days, which is a local celebration of the many art deco designed buildings built after the devastating 1931 earthquake. It was a beautiful day, and we were able to see the area as well as mix with the locals.

We’re fortunate to visit when an art deco festival was going on. A good stop to book a winery excursion.

Booked an excursion and toured the local attractions.

Sweet town, but not a "don't miss." No excursion

The double decker bus was the way to see this, it had enough stops to take pictures and to grab items to eat. I am a history buff and so I again learned a lot about this area. Including that they have a lot of earthquakes, which I never knew they had.

No excursions. Visited family.

Napier always does its best. Art Deco and vintage cars and dress are great.

Only tour available once on ship was a trip to the National Aquarium. It wasn’t bad but the Aquarium is very small. There are city aquariums in the states that are larger. Skip the aquarium and go see something else.
