Rented a condo right on Prince’s Wharf where we docked. Took a Tuk-Tuk (Viator) tour of the city - so so. Then rented a private vehicle (Viator) to go to Hobbiton. Worth the extra expense - Hobbiton is amazing!

Hard to give an opinion on this port. We came in as a cyclone hit and the flooding was disastrous.

Waiheke Island was the best experience that we did on our own

We did the America's Cup tour. We got to help on the yacht, as Well, as enjoy the scenery. Wish it could have lasted longer

This was my embarkation port. I did not do an excursion because I arrived prior to embarkation day to see relatives. The port facility itself looked like an old warehouse, but that did not matter because there was free wi-fi available while waiting, and restrooms were also available.

Due to ship failing an inspection due to sea worms on the hull, most of our ports were we cancelled. 12 days at sea and 2 days in ports

It was okay another excursion and I probably would have done better if I had just gone on my own.

Half the places were shut on New Year’s Eve. Not much to do.
