We went to see Christ the Redeemer, went shopping, visited a Favela and enjoyed a nice meal.

Fireworks on Copacabana were spectacular. 1/2 hour of great doesnt' make up for a week of bad.

Took a private tour had a wonderful guide name Michael. He was very knowledgeable and took us to the best places.

Corcovado was fine. Pao de Azucar was fine. The beaches were fine. Too bad what I was really there for was to experience Carnaval, or at least one of the lesser local celebrations - not fine.

Once again not a fan of Brazil. In the port area a short walk away is an aquarium that has free entry for senior citizens. The view of the harbor from the ship is superb. But Brazil is dangerous and hot.
