Good view of Bridge from the ship at port. First day taxi we saw a lot. The second day we had the excursion Corcovada and Rio Highlights—super, only short waits for tram, third day rode free tram and saw lots of .carnaval people and floats.

Had 2 1/2 days in port. Did Christ the Redeemer and Sugerloaf mountain with beach excursions, both were very good. Got feeling city was not very safe.

The jeep tour through Tijuca forest was amazing. Terrible tour: Rio Sights and Sounds. We just drove around in traffic. Hardly hit any of the Rio highlights. And the tour guide just griped about everything that was wrong with Brazil.

Yes but before the cruise! Felt safe and enjoyed Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf, even though very windy!

Fantastic views sailing in, lots to see, Christ the Redeemer there’s lifts and escalators if you look for them so easier than it looks, Carnival is late and loud but fun, Copacabana beach good and feels safe. Just be aware other entertainment like museums shut down during Carnival.
