We took the bus trip to the Portahue falls. It was lovely. We wanted to see the lakes and get close to the mountains. Then we had lunch in a small town (cannot remember the name.) Very nice day.

Loved it. The people were so friendly. Beautiful waterfall and walking on the volcanoes was cool. The port was nice and the lunch was excellent.

Turn left and go to the fish market. Keep going through the market to the harbour and you may see some Sea Lions feeding.

This is an industrial port. There didn't seem to be much to see in the town. We went to the Falls which are small but pretty in color and had lunch in another town about 45 minutes from port. This town was on a lake and obviously a local tourist destination. It was a mix of quaint and tacky.

All scheduled tours were cancelled due to a small but vocal "union strike." We sat on the bus for over an hour until Cruise ship staff explained the bad news. I walked into town to take photos.

Busy and larger city. Enjoyed the port and walked a good deal. Opportunities for shopping and traditional foods.
