Nice walk but the ship map needed to be corrected. The church was placed incorrectly, but we had a nice walk looking for it in a more peaceful route.

Liked this stop. Made a connection with a local windsurfer which enhanced our enjoyment.

A small town known for its beaches. Not much there.

We took a private boat tour visiting all the beaches. This area is called the Caribbean of Brazil because of the incredible beaches. I thought that visiting 1 beach was enough--after 3 we were ready to go back to the ship. And as our tour guide told us after we all got off safe and sound--of course there are pirana in the water by the beaches--they stay away from you because they are afraid. The water is muddy and murky--there very well could have been pirana swimming around us. Well--I'm never going in the water again!

Super scenic, very small beach town. Very safe and friendly with a natural lake that has a white sandy beach. The docking point for the tenders also has a big sandy beach, vendors, and places for cold drinks. Make sure you continue through the vendors and walk a short distance downtown (about 4 blocks) to the lake and town square. Good place to go to the pharmacy or grocery store. Nice little shopping area.
