We all spent the night at the Columbia River Holiday Inn. It was a beautiful property! We boarded the ship in the morning and departed for Astoria.

We boarded the ship from Hayden Island so didn't see much of it. There is a big shopping center near the hotel for last minute items, though there is opportunity to shop along the Columbia river.
