We did the Coffee Plantation tour, which we booked through the cruise line. Excellent tour guide both on the bus and at the plantation.

Tour offerings not great

Went to the safari on a bus. Cool experience, but it is not close to the port. The bus was hot (a/c could not keep up and needed serviced) and it takes about 1.75 hours one way. Wish we had time at the zoo area as there were some cool animals there. This is largely an industrial port.

Toured the Coffee Plantation. Interesting. Cobblestone path to walk on labeled as moderate difficulty. Our 80 year Mom who doesn't walk long distance was able to do this tour. She was tired at the end.

We did not do an excursion here. We debated getting off of the ship but when we saw the first group of shuttles come back within 1/2 hour, we decided to interview a few of the people who were on them....they said not to bother because the larger ship got the better port and all of our shuttles just took them over to the other ship and shops then they had to go through customs and it was a whole thing just to get back to our ship. Some very unhappy cruisers - so we decided to just stay on the ship.

Did the Chocolate workshop excursion and was a great experience

Boring, nothing to do around the area, unless you took a tour to get away from the area.
