Puerto Limon, Costa Rica Port Reviews

Absolutely breath taking!!! Rain forest and river boat excursion were overwhelming in a good way. Too much for your eyes and mind to process but you feel it in your chest, lungs and gut. That's the closest description I can give. Highly recommend!

The National Park rain forest is wonderful. Didn't see any monkeys but maxed out on sloths and poison dart frogs. Guide was an entertaining speaker and very well educated on her subject.

Excursion buses were far from ship and a shuttle service was absent.

We did an excursion thru Viator which was excellent called Fantastic tour in Limon Costa Rica

Little disappointing since Costa Rica is known for lush beauty and wildlife. We toured 2 parks over 5 hours and saw 4 sloths and maybe one monkey. Rainforest was not very lush. Beach at the National Park was nice. Banana plantation was OK learned a lot but super touristy.

Costa Rica was ok….we would not necessarily choose to go there again. One thing we did find was Cuban Cigars and the price was very reasonable! We chose not to do an excursion.

We enjoyed a bus/train tour excursion. We saw sloths, monkeys and banana plantation. Very informative and just the right length to tour.

Again, just visited the port shops to walk around.

Love the beach nice and warm
