Took an excursion through the canals where we saw a sloth, crocodile, cayman and many birds. We also saw a sloth in the park across from the port.

Left the ship and walked around the area near the port. No excursion.

It rained, but it's a rainforest, so it's sort of on brand. The rainforest boat/walk excursion was great. We saw lots of critters. The port had a lot of local crafting kiosks, which were great.

Beautiful city if you want to just shop and return to the ship they had a great market set up at the end of the pier along with great beaches and water. If going on your own tour use taxi's that are red and registered

I did the Tortuguero Canals & Veragua Rainforest excursion that was somewhat disappointing and seemed overpriced for the experience. The rainforest portion did not have the type of wildlife as I expected. We did see monkeys & sloth on the canals portion of the excursion and I would probably only do that separately if I return.

Banana farms everywhere. Did the Bus, Boat, and Train excursion. Seen a lot of the country!

Train ride was advertised as "Open Air Train"...it was "Open Window Train". Boat went 400 yds down a canal and back.

The sloth adventure was the best! Learned so much about these amazing animals. Even went on a canoe ride to see them In the wild. Awesome.
