We did go to the rain forest and aerial tram—expensive but interesting.

Best excursion of the entire cruise. Went to a folklore dance, which was great. The dancers were very good and invited passengers to join them. Great fun! They also provided interested local snacks. Then we went to a banana plantation. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and Limon was much cleaner than Falmouth, Jamaica or Panama.

Very nice local area at the cruise terminal. Lots of local vendors with all the classic tourist souvenir items. Locals were not very pushy which was nice. Easy to negotiate prices as well. Just outside the cruise terminal there were nice local cafes, shops etc… and a very nice park where you can see sloths and owls. Some locals will help you spot them, and you can give them a small tip if you’d like. Very nice views of the ocean from this area.

Very hot and humid but nice! We did the open air train and highlights of Costa Rica! Saw a sloth in the tree and monkeys!

highly recommend leaving the port with a tour guide, some men are way too aggressive with their approach to females. Cahuitas national park is a must do and will probably take you all day.

We took a driving and boat tour for $35 each and saw so much. There was only 3 of us in a cab. The driver took us to some great sights throughout the town and we did a small boat tour of the jungle. Great time.
