We did a HAL excursion called Tropical train ride and mangrove cruise. Absolute beautiful country and we saw some crocodiles and birds including mccaws. The only disappointment was that we stopped at a lovely big store in between the train and boat for a short time instead of at the end of the tours like our information said we would do. Since we were given snacks and drinks we didn’t get time to buy the items we wanted. But I did buy a nice hat so not a total loss 😃. Costa Rica is definitely a place to return to.

This was a container port. Had to take a bus into the nearby town. Did the coffee plantation your. It was wonderful experience.

This is an industrial port, remote from the action, and there are no taxi's or non-cruise line excursions available. We did the Scenic Costa Rica excursion, which was modestly interesting, but is mostly a lot of viewing things from a bus window and a stop for souvenirs.

I did the info Discover Costa Rica. It was an eight hour excursion. Went to a coffee plantation that was very educational. A beautiful Botanical garden, some old churches. It was a great way to travel some distance around the area

Went to Pura Vida botanical gardens and it was beautiful. David and Cindy have done a beautiful job with the grounds.

Port was industrial. Tour took us to different areas in Costa Rica. We enjoyed seeing the country side.
