This port was adorable. Loved the little shops in the cobble stone streets. We walked to the castle and watched the cannon shoot off at noon. They do this everyday at noon. We walked back and ate at a restaurant by the harbor. Great food and my husband loved their beer choices

Enjoyed my day ashore started with a guided walking tour highly recommended. The tour was not arranged by the ship but by the local tourist information centre. The centre is about a 10-15 minute walk from the tender drop off jetty...follow the brown signs. Tours cost £8 each and begin at 1030 am and finish at midday. After the tour just had a general walk around enjoying the sun and sights. The embarkation back to the ship was a little delayed taking around an hour of queueing. The ship said to be in line by 5pm.....my advice would be to join the queue just before this time if you didn't want to wait or return to the ship before 1pm. Additionally if you fancied seeing more of the island there is a bus number 91 or 92 which travels around the island either clockwise or counterclockwise. The bus takes about 90 minutes to complete at lap and you can get on and off as you see fit. Unbelievablly the cost of a ticket is just £1 per person. Four stars because of the delay in returning to ship.

This was our 1st stop on our 1st cruise. It was a Sunday, so limited shops open, but it was nice & sunny, very relaxing & very friendly. If you don’t mind walking up a few hills, ur fine!
