First day we hired a private guide for a Jewish Heritage tour. She was outstanding and showed us all the city attractions as well. So second day we took the ship excursion of the walking tour of “the other Mumbai” the largest slum in the world. This was good but took a lot of logistic communication on the part of the guide which limited her attention to the tour group commentary.

Spent one day with friends from School that live there and gave us a tour of various parts of the city. The second we took a cruise excursion to see some highlights. It complemented what we saw h first day. The city is too large an chaotic.

Mumbai has cleaned up its act over the years. It used to be dirty and smelly but that has changed. We visited the slum, the laundry and visited the home of friends we know who live there. We always enjoy Mumbai when we go.

Difficult to rate as India is so different and an assault on the senses but was good enaough. Did our own small group excursion I would recommend doing this.
