Mobbed when got off the ship. Hard to get out of the port in any transport as so congested

There is no city of Goa. It is the name of the state. Took a tour to Old Goa which was worthwhile. Took a tour of and had lunch at Oliveira House. Delightful.

Nothing really here. Take a taxi group to the major locations for a cheaper tour. Beaches are not on par with nicer beaches around the world

Not an overly exciting port, it is quite a way from the township. We booked a “Glimpse of Goa” excursion via Viator - and it was the best decision.
