wish we had more time, unfortunately, the Hop on Hop off was not running, we did about 10 miles of walking and loved every minute of it.

A city now filled with skyscrapers with more to come. The downtown section is quite a ways from the port and the ocean but it does have a lovely river running through it. We used the hop on hop off bus which is fully narrated, so were able to see a lot in a short period of time.

My husband was able to check off the Australian Open off his bucket list, and although it was the wettest day of the entire tournament, he had a blast! I was able to get into town and used the free circular rail and saw a lot of the city, as well walked around for three hours! Pictures didn't have blue skies but I got a good sense of the city and did a bit of sightseeing! Loved the main Library and the main train station! All in all, we made the most of it as we had rain coats and umbrellas! Lovely city which we visit again!

Had some pluses, but overall not a city I would go out of my way to return to. It did not help that the Norwegian newsletter said it was going to be 72 degrees and it turned out to be 99 that day.

We were rushed at Melbourne because we were trying to make up time. We were at yet another industrial port. I don’t feel as if I really experienced Melbourne.

Free city trolley was recommended so we took it. Big mistake - no a good way at all to see the city. Center city is 3 miles from the port - another drawback.

Take a panoramic tour of Melbourne visiting the suburbs, Princess Theater, Arts & Cultural Center, Cricket Grounds and Melbourne Park. Visit Eureka Skydeck for a marvelous 360 degree view of Melbourne. Stop at the Shrine of Remembrance & the Royal Botanic Gardens.
