We stayed four days in Dubai. One day was a tour to AbuDhabi Grand Mosque and Louvre that was good. A young friend of us showed us places in and near Dubai that other tourists do not get on tours. Our stay was really good.

One of our fondest memories of visiting Dubai 10 years ago was going on the Evening Desert Safari with BBQ along with entertainment and this time around we enjoyed the experience just as much. The 4WD vehicle we travelled in was comfortable and the ride thrilling but I wouldn’t recommend it to those who suffer from motion sickness or have weak neck muscles. The BBQ food was plentiful and very tasty and the entertainment was high class and exotic. We purchased our tour through Viator online. There are lots of companies who run this particular tour and we can highly recommend using Red Dune Desert Safari. The cost for what you get is also very reasonable.

My husband and I did the dinner in the dunes excursion. It was A LOT of fun. We really enjoyed the ride through the sand dunes, the camel ride, dancers, presentations, and BBQ; however, it seemed unnecessarily long. The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because of the two hours where my husband and I sat doing absolutely nothing but waiting for the dancers and the dinner.

Beautiful city with lots to see. Best advice I can give is do your research, decide what you want to see, (be it The Mosque, Ferrari world or whatever) and stick to it. You'll never have enough time to see everything on this cruise. Hop on hop off bus is great for sightseeing but you won't have very much time to spend at each stop if you want to cram everything in!
