We went with chef Lindsay on the market tour to one of local fruit and veg markets. It was were the locals brought their produce from the fields to the city. Vibrant and full of local life.

Not much to see. Tour was cheap, but it is hot, you get pestered by locals a lot and public toilet gross.

Took a panoramic bus tour. Some parts of town are quite attractive including Victoria Park.

Good port

Port surrounded by slums and freeways making for a poor welcome to the country. Bus tour did not have any stops that could be considered scenic.

Just here in port for the day. Booked a private Colombo City Tuk Tuk Safari Tour. It was a lot of fun and a great way to explore the city.
