We were disappointed with the snorkeling trip we took. The grew were very friendly and fun, but the water was very cloudy and we saw VERY FEW fish.

The bay between Zihuatanejo and Las Gatos was pristine and so peaceful we wanted to stay forever. Only downside was what we felt was too short a time to visit this stop! Went snorkeling and kayaking and it was a day well spent!

Only went as far as the shopping area at the pier. The heat and humidity did us in. Would have liked to have seen more, however. Very quaint and picturesque.

Nice beaches-easy walk along the waterfront if you just want to get off the ship. Good prices for food all along the area.

We did not participate in an tours. We walked around the city and took a water taxi to Los Gatos Beach. We enjoyed several hours of drinking beer, eating tacos, and swimming in ocean.

This port is clearly a don't miss. You have the option of going to Ixtapa which is billed as a tourist resort. Zihuatanejo is a small town that is well worth visiting. We visited a coconut factory, a tile factory and a small fishing village just outside. You get to see the real Mexico and rural communities as they live their lives.
