Got a cab from the port for a 2 hour tour. Went to lookout, several baches, the town of La Cruzeita and visited the markets and Mexcal shop. After the tour enjoyed our time around this small enchanting village, very pretty and the ship was right at the beach. Had lunch on the beach and drinks. Reasonably priced. Would love to go back.

Really liked Huatulco and the area was clean. Do not care much for how they hound you for sales if not with ships excursion. Beautiful beach and may consider just hanging there if back in the area.

This is a relatively new port. The minimal docking assistance will help you appreciate the expertise of your navigation crew. Inhabitants are friendly and helpful.

This port is now one of my favorites. Skip the initial set of stores and go left to the plaza with a church and then turn right.. You'll see a park and there is an artisan market beyond that.
