This small port is just coming into its own. You will surely appreciate your crew's expertise when you see the small space and shallow depth in which they navigate in order to dock. Tide only varies by a few inches. When we were in port, there were no tugs visible. The business folk in the small commercial area at the end of the pier are very friendly. In the midst of a sudden storm burst, during which our ship broke its moorings, passengers were provided shelter and seating in restaurants and shops until tenders were dispatched to return us to our ship.

Nice Port. Beautiful weather. Took the Highlights of Huatulco. Huatulco means “Where Wood is Worshipped “. Great place with cold beer! There are no buildings taller than six stories.

Ship docks right next to a beautiful sandby beach where you swim. Buy a drink at the cafe right on the beach and you get a free sunbed on the beach and free wifi

We did the 5 bay catamaran cruise offered by the ship. That was very nice. Spent the rest of the day relaxing on a beautiful beach, enjoying cheap beer, only steps from the ship.

The best port. Beach is just 5 min away from the ship. Very clean water and very clean beach. Lots of bars and restaurants. You won’t see any other nice port so enjoy it.

Did a dive, but they had high waves the night before so it was stirred up a bit.

Nothing to do, rained while we were there, and ship got stuck in sand. Had to be put up in hotel until we could re-board the ship. Then had to wait in line for about a ship for a tether. Basically this was a bust.

Our favorite port in Mexico. Very pretty. Nice locals. Great coffee at the white building in the center of town. Lovely shops. Love everything about it!!!

Huatulco is gorgeous. Seeing armed soldiers at the dock was disconcerting but they were friendly and respectful. Our bus to the copalita ruins showed us the area is being worked on for many modern improvements. Tourism is the salvation they strive for and everyone urged us to come back. What little we saw of crucecitos and the local area was nice except for one grafittied building on a cliff above the cove.
