Again the port call was too short, but had a wonderful time non the less. You definitely have to go to the beach and take in the crystal clear ocean. Simply amazing!

Our biking, carvern, beach excursion was disappointing. The bikes were rusty. I sliced my calf on a cable wire getting on the bike. My daughter got a few cuts from her bike. The bike paths were very rocky and rough. The cavern was cool but the guide took only one light and it was dark at the end of the line and we were unsure of what we were walking into. Saw a beautiful diamondback rattlesnake on our ride back to the beach...that was my highlight! It wasn't a good beach day due to the cold and wind and our guide said we had an hour and a half there. He ended up cutting it short and we headed back to the van pick-up area. Our guide was knowledgeable and very interesting . We enjoyed all the information he shared with us about Mexico and the wildlife he loves. This excursion could have been a lot better. We went into Carmen Des Playa and had a nice dinner and really thought the town was charming although touristy. It was fun.

Our Crew skipped this port as the ship broke down and had to go back to Mobile - turns out we waited 12 hours to dock.

Port cancelled due to engine problems. Had to crawl back to Alabama. Of the 5 days, we were on land about 6 hours in Cozumel.

Calica has nothing there. You have to take a cab to Playa Del Carmen or go to Cancun that is an hour away.

Beach Break was good for those who want to have fun and relax, but don't want to spend a lot of money on an excursion.

very nice, clean shopping area, cab fare from the ship to Playa del Carmen is $10.00, so share it with another couple

Wasn't a big fan of the area we snorkled at (reef snorkle) very rocky just to get into the water, kind of unsafe.
